2024-Current: Graduate Research Assistant
- Vitek Lab, Khoury College of Computer Sciences, Northeastern University
- My work in the Vitek Lab focuses on creating workflows for statistical analysis of mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) data - specifically for the analysis of multi-sample MSI experiments with complex designs. I plan to expand this work to inlcude other spatial-omics modalties, as well as new methods of analysis that better integrate spatial information. The overall goal of my work is to promote statistical rigor of spatial-omics experiments by developing, educating other researchers on, and promoting access to high quality, open-source, and user-friendly statical tools for spatial-omics analysis. I also help organize (admin, marketing, web presence, event managment, etc.) the May Institute, a series of short courses on computational biology and proteomics held at Northeastern University.

2021-2023: Graduate Research Assistant
- John Lab, Bouvé College of Health Sciences, Northeastern University
- Conducting human subjects research on the effect of personalized health coaching on physical activity and other health outcomes in older adults, including recruiting participants, collecting data, creating and maintaing data processing pipelines, statistical analysis of wearable accelerometery data, grant and muscript writing, and attending conferences. Transfered to the Vitek lab when Dr. John left Northeastern University for a postion at NIH.

2019-2021: Research Project Assistant
- Vermont Child Health Improvement Program
- Managing data storage, analysis, and creation of reports for the Vermont Regional Perinatal Health Project. Analyze data and compile dashboards for the Northern New England Clinical and Translational Research Network. Various research duties (manage IRB, assist with manuscript preparation, update and maintain datasets and reporting infrastructure, etc.) for the health services research team.

- Vermont Child Health Improvement Program
- Managing administrative tasks and communication for 4 projects on pediatric healthcare quality evaluation and improvement. Much of my work involves project management, creating workflows, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, running meetings, webinars and conference calls, managing chart reviewers and chart audits, data entry and analysis. I transferred from this role to my Research Project Assistant to pursue my interest in data science.

2017-2018: Research Assistant
- Vermont Center for Behavior and Health
- Working with human subjects to collect data for a 14-18-week clinical trial on the effects of Low Nicotine cigarettes on a variety of outcomes. Included scheduling, running participant visits, collecting biometrics and specimens, consenting and intake procedures, documenting visits, routine compliance procedures (IRB/HIPAA), and hiring and managing work study students. I was the double data entry coordinator responsible for managing double data entry, validation, and correction.
