Currently a PhD student in the Vitek Lab at Northeastern University studying statistical methods for mass spectrometry imaging (MSI).

What I'm up to

Current Projects: Spatial statistics with MSI data

I'm exploring spatial models and MSI data, with the purpose of developing ways to rigorously test how spatial patterns change across conditions and interventions. If you're attending ASMS 2026, come see my oral on this work in the Informatics: Innovations session on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026. Stay tuned!

Current Projects: Workflows for differential analysis of MSI

I'm currently developing workflows for differential analysis of multi-sample MSI experiments with complex designs. I've showcased some of this work at ASMS 73 and IMSIS3. Preprint on BioRxiv.

Organizing May Institute

I help organize May Institute, a series of short courses on statistics, mass spectrometry, and computational biology. Applications are open!

Updates

2/2026 Want to learn how to analyze multi-omic spatial data? I'm co-teaching a course on Cardinal for MSI at the Spatial Omics Summer school in Bruges, Belgium (June 15-19, 2026).

10/2025 Attended IMSIS3 at the beautiful campus of UC Davis. Check out my poster.

6/2025 Attended ASMS 73 in Baltimore, MD. My first ASMS!

5/2025 Thank you to all the instructors and participants who made May Insitute 2025 a success!
